A SIKH’S PRAYER
Oh Nanak! (Let me bealways) in High spirits and morale with grace of your NAM. Welfare of whole Universe by WILL OF GOD (is what we seek).

FIVE K’S (KAKARS)
 A SIKH must always wear on his body
1. KESHAS Unshorn Hair.
2. KANGHA Wooden Comb.
3. KARA An iron Bracalet. (Worn in Right forearm).
4. KACHHAIRA Cloth Underwear. (Specially designed and tailored).
5. KIRPAN (to be worn on body with GATRA, a specially made cloth strip).

SIKH’S WAY OF LIFE
1. NAM JAPNA To recite and remember God’s NAM. A sikh must rise early in the morning. After being free from daily chores and bath, should recite God’s NAM followed by NITNEM BANIS : JAP JI SAHIB, JAAP SAHIB, SWAYYEAY, One Bani RAHERAS SAHIB in the evening and one Bani SOHILA before going to sleep (These fiveGuru Banis to be recited daily).
2. KIRAT KARNI To earn livelihood by hardwork, honesty and devotion. Never to grab other’s dues.
3. WAND CHHAKNA To share one’s earnings with others by helping needy persons, ill persons and persons in distress and under persecution with TAN, MAN and DHAN(physically, from the core of heart and with money).

WAHE GURU JI KA KHALSA Hail! Khalsa belongs to WAHEGURU (God)
WAHE GURU JI KI FATEH        Victory belongs to WAHEGURU(God)

FOUR MAIN KUREHETS (FOUR TABOOS OR DON’TS FOR SIKHS)
A Sikh is termed as a PATIT i.e. the fallen one if he indulges in any one of the following vices (Kurehets) :-

1. Trimming and Cutting of hair from any part of the body.
2. Adultery.
3. Use of Tobacco in any form and other intoxicants.
4. Eating Meat prepared as per Muslims rites (KUTHA).
